Pure Silk Yarn - Cobweb
Our “cobweb” silk category is where you can find silk yarn cones of metric count 2/48NM or finer – basically this means very fine silk yarn! The finest silk yarn cones we stock are 2/120NM which is perfect for weaving or machine knitting in conjunction with a thicker yarn to add a silky lustrous finish. Between 2/120NM and 2/48NM we also stock 2/60NM silk yarn (and also 2/2/120NM) – again these are fine silk yarn cones ideal for weaving or machine knitting.
Generally the silk yarns for sale are supplied on one single cone (usually 200g) however some are supplied on smaller cones – please see the product pictures.
We only stock the best quality silk yarns that are spun in Italy to extremely high European standards – we do not sell cheap imported “silk” as often found elsewhere.
